DOCUMENTARY

Home to the nation's largest open-air narcotics market which The New York Times once referred to as “The Walmart of heroin”, Kensington, Philadelphia is the epicentre of America’s growing opioid epidemic

Worth Saving is a film project documenting a female founded, non-profit addiction recovery centre based in Kensington, Philadelphia, USA. Alongside drug-abstinent housing they offer a unique harm reduction programme to protect those still living in active addiction. Both programmes have been developed and informed by the lived experiences of founder Sarah, and include things like trauma therapy, yoga, kickboxing, holistic healing and 12 step fellowship
